The Challenge
Many people struggle to stay motivated when saving for large purchases or upcoming expenses. The challenge was to design an app that simplifies the saving process, encourages consistency, and helps users reach their goals faster through an intuitive and motivating digital experience.
The Solution
Following the Design Thinking process, I began by researching user behaviours and pain points around saving money to identify key motivations and challenges. From there, I developed user flows and wireframes to create a simple, goal-oriented experience that promotes progress and motivation. Through iterative prototyping and usability testing, I refined interactions to ensure the app felt supportive and intuitive. The final design features a friendly, approachable interface that encourages users to save quickly and confidently.
The Result
The final app delivers a clear, engaging experience that helps users save money quickly and confidently. Users can link their bank accounts, input transaction data, and set personalised saving goals and spending targets. The app visualises progress through interactive graphs and percentage indicators, allowing users to track income and spending trends across different categories. It also provides tailored recommendations to support smarter saving and spending habits. Together, these features create an intuitive and motivating financial companion that empowers users to achieve their goals with ease.
